This Privacy Policy describes how BibleJourney, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects and uses personal information through the biblejourney.com website and related websites, and their web pages, interactive features and applications, their respective contents, and any other associated interactive content, whether accessed via computer, mobile device or other technology (collectively, the “Site”), which is owned and operated by us. The Site features a digital e-version of the BibleJourney Program, a biblical literacy/educational program that includes a curriculum of illustrated Bible teaching that covers Genesis through Revelation (“BJ Program”), in the form of an interactive electronic application (“BJ-Interactive”).

1. What Information Do We Collect, How We Use It and Your Rights to Control Your Personal Information

You control the personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, address, phone number and email address, that you share with us. You can correct, delete, or modify this data at any time. You can also request to have your account deleted. You may contact us at any time with respect to the foregoing.

We offer users through the Site the ability to register online and participate in BJ-Interactive.

We may collect information from you if you fill out a form or contact us and request information. When ordering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, phone number or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

We do not rent or sell your personally identifying information to other companies or individuals, unless we have your consent.

We may disclose personally identifiable information in response to legal process – for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. We may also disclose such information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of our Terms or this Policy, or as otherwise required by law. (iii) to notify you about changes to the Site and BJ Interactive; (iv) to allow you to participate in the interactive features of BJ Interactive (v) in any other way we may describe when you provide the information and (vi) for any other purpose with your consent.

We may also share your information with the following third parties for the following purposes:

  • With service providers, contractors, and other third parties that help carry out the uses described above – we require third parties to: (1) abide by this Privacy Policy and applicable law; (2) handle personal information in a confidential manner and maintain adequate security; and (3) use personal information only as needed. In some cases, the Site is integrated with third-party services or contains links to websites published by third parties. These third parties are responsible for their own privacy practices, so you should pay attention anytime you are redirected to a third-party website and be sure to review its privacy policy.
  • With other learners in BJ Interactive to create an interactive learning environment, support class participation, and share course information – This may include sharing comments, coursework, or other information or content that you submit to the Site.
  • With organizations that sponsor your enrollment in a course for training or other educational purposes – If an entity partners with us or otherwise sponsors your course participation, we will share information with the entity as needed to confirm your enrollment, participation, progress, and completion status in BJ-Interactive.
  • With our affiliates, or with successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization, for their use consistent with this Privacy Policy.

2. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or through our services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information through our services. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. 3. BJ Interactive Subscription Payments

Purchase of BJ Interactive Subscriptions may be made via credit card. We outsource processing of credit card transactions to Stripe. We securely transmit your credit card information to Stripe (our payment processor). Stripe, however, does store this information. Stripe maintains that it is PCI compliant. We may also store the last four digits of your credit card and the brand of the credit card. We also request your phone number and email address when you subscribe to BJ Interactive so that we can reach you should further verification of your credit card information be required. Stripe uses personal information, including credit card information, you provide.
